My practice is an exploration of the pathways of drawing; as a physical, metaphysical and spiritual practice. Currently the practice has settled within tattooing and the intimacy that comes with that along with the junction it forms with Zen Buddhist practice. Previously I have found myself within the making of jewellery, textiles, ceramics and installation practice. Within each modality I try to find the topography that holds it together, the paths and edges. I excavate until I find where the intimacy and immediacy lies and that’s where I am able to practice. Tattooing feels like a culmination of the many pathways that I have moved through, within it I can find everything.
