Visitors will meet members of Papermakers of Victoria and will be led by Barb Adams in using handmade paper to create a postcard.
9 October: T shirts and Jeans to Paper
Workshop participants will learn how to make paper from natural fibre textile guided by experienced papermaker, Gail Stiffe.
18 October 1pm: Virtual talk by Rosalind Price Paper: Matter and Meaning
Rosalind Price is an eclectic art-maker with a preference for natural materials, low-tech methods, and ephemeral objects. Her background in book publishing gave her an appreciation of paper as a medium for communication. In this talk she'll share thoughts about papermaking as a tactile pleasure, and paper's accessibility, versatility and potential to evoke responses.
