Bridget Saville is an emerging artist and designer based on Kaurna Country/Adelaide. Since 2022, she has worked with clay as her primary medium, exploring its intrinsic responsive qualities and its capacity to record pressure and movement.
Her current practice focuses on extruding clay, developing custom extrusion dies and formwork to test the physical limits of the material and to explore the tension between control and release. Her work spans functional design and sculptural forms and is grounded in strong conceptual foundations.
Bridget holds a Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) from RMIT University and undertook the Ceramics Associate Program at JamFactory, Adelaide, in 2023–24.
