Rebecca is an accomplished museum director, curator, writer, lecturer, academic, and is Director at Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA). She has previously worked at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, the National Galery of Victoria, Melbourne International Arts Festival and the Museum of Modern Art Oxford and most recently as Director and CEO of Shepparton Art Museum, where she oversaw the development of the new building, reinvigorating its artistic program, fundraising, and collection strategy.
Rebecca has worked extensively in Australia and overseas as a leading advocate for arts and culture, community engagement, and diversity and inclusion. She holds a PhD in art history from the University of Melbourne, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Member of AICA Australia.
