Aaron Roberts and Kim Bridgland are architects and co-founders of Melbourne based practice Edition Office.
Through its design process, built work, research, writing and curatorial output, Edition Office seeks to pursue investigations into material, spatial and cultural practice. The studio works with a love of detail, and with an awareness and sensitivity towards the historical and cultural complexity that exists within the sites or context that their projects become manifest.
With a collaborative ethos, the team bring a maturity and depth of experience in the creation of experientially rich architecture. Combining research, physical form finding techniques and digital agility the studio seeks to create unique places with distinct identities. Within the first five years of practice, Edition Office has won numerous National and International awards including the 2019 Canberra Medallion, Dezeen Small Building of the year and Emerging Architect awards, HOUSES Emerging Architecture Practice, the Design Files Awards Emerging designer and the Kevin Borland, Cynthia Breheny and Nicholas Murcutt Awards for Small Project Architecture.
