Georgie Szymanski is a commission-based furniture studio located in Melbourne, Australia. All pieces are designed and made by craftsperson Georgie Szymanski.
Szymanski's practice explores object and user encounters through the intersections of furniture, objects and spatial practice. Primarily working with timber and craft processes, her works explore the balance between historical forms and current day functions, informed by traditional methods of cabinet making and technical exploration.
Georgie Szymanski was a finalist in the National Gallery of Victoria’s 2025 Rigg Design Prize: Next in Design.
