Jordan is a designer and craftsperson based in Naarm (Melbourne), working across both furniture and objects; his practice interrogates the role of objects in our everyday lives in communicating ideas and connections.
Through stages of deep research and experimentation, his work pulls from historical contexts, architectural forms, and the Australian landscape, resulting in the development of objects that balance their utilitarian use with materiality, craftsmanship and storytelling.
By embedding objects with stories and a sense of place, I aim to contribute not only to the spaces we inhabit, but also to the cultural conversations that shape it
