Polly Dymond is an emerging contemporary jeweller and object maker embracing the alchemy of experimental materials and processes to transform discarded waste into precious artefacts.
Raised in Naarm/Melbourne, she studied an Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design at Melbourne Polytechnic before relocating to Tarntanya/Adelaide to undertake the esteemed JamFactory Associate program in the Jewellery and Metal Studio.
A recipient of the NMH Metalworks Prize for Silversmithing and finalist in Australia's Next Top Designer, DIA GOTYA Awards, Contemporary Wearables Biennial Jewellery Award, Profile Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award and the National Contemporary Jewellery Award she has exhibited across Australia in galleries such as JamFactory, Brunswick Street Gallery, Craft ACT and Zu Design and has been the recipient of project grants from Australia Council for the Arts, ArtsSA and JamFactory Medici Collective.
