Richard Monger

Richard Monger (he/him) is a Naarm/Melbourne-based artist experimenting with alternative ceramic practices and metaphysical relations. He is a graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Art (Monash).

In his series FUSION, Monger combines ceramics, fungi molecules, and glass through experimental firing processes. Heavily influenced by the beauty and imperfections of the natural world, the artist’s body of work is intimately tied to sensory experiences and close observations.
