Riley Concannon

Riley Concannon is a Sydney based artist whose creative process slowly transforms precious metals into singular expressions of jewellery and objects. Each piece tells a quiet story of history, people and forgotten things. Influenced by archaeology and the natural world, his work embraces imperfection and the passing of time.

His pieces are not just decorative, they are vessels that embody memory, time and narrative. Archaeologist Dr Monica M Jackson has described him as “one of Australia’s most talented artisan jewellers”.

Riley has studied both in Australia and abroad, including at the renowned Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence. His work has been exhibited at galleries and institutions including the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
