A recent graduate from RMIT's Bachelor of Fashion (Design), Naarm designer-maker Sal Rosenberg's emerging practice is rooted in slow design methodologies, producing outcomes that are meticulously handcrafted and considered. Expanding beyond the traditional expectations of fashion as industry, Sal produces bespoke work in areas such as experimental knitwear, body artefacts and practical sculpture for the home. Their research-lead design approach savours process and technique development, while prioritising sustainability and material integrity. Sal's notable experience includes exhibiting in Melbourne Design Week's 2024 show "soft" and RMIT's 2024 exhibition "Destinations".
