Camille’s practice is slow and distinctive. She translates English language and Western music notation into beadwork, using each bead to represent a letter or musical note within a carefully structured composition. Seen below, Camille’s work ‘Acedia’ is now available to collect at Craft, online and in the gallery.
Hand-loom woven over hours, the work’s surface forms a dense, silvery-grey field of sterling silver-plated and glass beads.
