Membership + Insurance | Annual fee of $360

Craft Membership + Insurance is an affordable insurance package available to visual artists, craft practitioners, designers, conservators, installers, registrars, curators and arts administrators working across Australia. This package is available to sole practitioners, partnerships, trusts and companies.

We are pleased to provide an affordable insurance solution in partnership with Cover for Creatives Insurance. In doing so, we can offer competitive premiums and broad tailored coverage as the insurance is secured for our members collectively rather than individually.

Insurance cover is essential – as anyone working in the creative sector faces risk exposures as part of the work they do. We are proud to offer an enhanced, affordable, and significantly subsidised insurance product that provides quality cover for our members – taking into account the broad range of activities that artists undertake in their creative practice.

What's included?

- Public & Products Liability, with extensions for Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions and third-party property in your physical or legal control; and
- Personal Accident Insurance

- Public & Products Liability Insurance Limit – $20,000,000
Essential for selling your work through retailers, online platforms, galleries, and markets, the Public Liability aspect of this policy will defend any claims where another party claims against you for bodily injury or property damage caused by a negligent act on your part. At the same time, the Products Liability section covers bodily injury or property damage caused by a fault in the product(s) you have made.
- Professional Indemnity/Errors and Omissions Cover Limit — $5,000,000
Professional Indemnity in the aggregate any one period of insurance.
- Property in your physical or legal control — $250,000
- Personal Accident
The coverage afforded by this Policy provides worldwide cover, 24 hours, 365 days, excluding time on any other employment other than visual arts practice and excluding travel to and from such employment.
