Make art possible.

The arts are a vital part of our culture, and every artwork begins with an idea. Your donation will directly help our artists to realise their creative visions and bring their ideas to life.

A dedicated fund allocated for the artists, the Artist Fund supports artists in developing innovative works, fostering creativity, and ensuring career longevity. Your donation to the Artist Fund will make a tremendous impact to Craft's exhibition program and provide the artists with expanded opportunities to ensure financial sustainability and creative independence.

Invest in ideas. Make art possible.

Our Impact

Over the past five years:
3,177 artists engaged | 156 exhibitions |154,040 gallery visitors

Craft positions the handmade as a complex study in problem solving, with exhibitions exploring prescient themes and ideas; expressed through materials, driven by skill, formed through function and experimental practice. In 2022, our exhibition program presented the ideas of 185 artists, featuring a total of 132 commissioned new works

Your donation will provide us the financial confidence to continue supporting Australian artists.

We are proud to have supported the Australian craft and design sector for over 50 years, and we welcome you to join us in our mission to continue this important work by donating to the Artist Fund today.

Craft is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission. All donations over $2 are Tax Deductible. Your donation, large or small, is truly appreciated and will make a genuine difference.

"Getting proper funding is incredibly important. You come up with an idea or concept but without adequate financial support, it is difficult to find the time and resources to bring it to fruition." - Shahn Stewart

Gunyagawa was commissioned by Craft for the exhibition Into the Everywhen, 2022, curated by Shahn Stewart and Eden Fiske of Alchemy Orange.
