Craft presents the work of designer and maker Kirby Bourke of Two Lines Studio in the solo exhibition, Monolithic.
Two Lines Studio is a sculptural furniture practice based in Geelong, Victoria. The studio has established itself with a distinct and recognisable aesthetic, pairing metal fabrication techniques with bold, minimalist and often playful design. The exhibition will present as an immersive installation featuring smart, modular furniture pieces alongside sculptural objects. Each piece is carefully crafted out of a passion and appreciation for skilled tradesmanship and influenced by contemporary architectural design.
Monolithic is part of Melbourne Design Week, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV.
