MP10 Panel: Lifelong Practice

Responding to MP10 theme Craftsmanship and the Japanese shokunin approach of taking time to perfect necessary for achieving quality, this panel draws together three women craft practitioners who embody a commitment towards mastering their craft over a lifetime. Each panelist having links to Japan, the speakers will consider cultural differences around how we interpret creative outputs in relation to duration of practice as well as the accumulation of knowledge through experience.
