Melbourne-based artist, Lou Hubbard, creates absurdist assemblages from common domestic materials and personal relics that she dissects then shapes into new formal relationships. Furniture, toys, clothing and sports equipment are selected and arranged to create humorous and strangely sentimental works.

Lou will explain her process of ‘looking and putting’ and her captivating method of casting imagination upon domestic objects.
