In a photographic diptych, Narelle White tells a subtle story of creative evolution. Unfired forms are a jumble of soft surfaces and possibility. Kiln-fired contours acquire the ancient quality of nomadic art or weathered stone. Taken together, White’s images bring our attention to the processual nature of ceramic sculpture.
A true story of humming stones is presented in the San Carlos Art-boxes by Arts in Maroondah.
