rePRESENTING the PAST

For each of us, there are objects, memories or concepts from our past that have had a very significant and lasting impact on us. rePRESENTING the PAST invites artists to revisit their personal, cultural or career history. The exhibition will see makers and artists from a diverse range of backgrounds and disciplines draw on elements that were significant to them in their past, and create a representation using contemporary materials, symbolism, techniques and technologies.
