In this full-day workshop, you will learn traditional toy and doll-making skills including an introduction to printmaking.

You will be shown basic linocut techniques to carve a 30cm x 30cm piece of linoleum which will be used to make a print on paper and fabric. Your best piece will be set to dry and used to make the stuffed doll. Your printed fabric will then be cut and assembled, using stuffing and then handstitched into a form. You will paint, embellish and embroider the form to complete your doll.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a finished doll and take home various samples and your linocut piece.
