Line connects to a dialogue with nature, the tactile feel of textiles, the movement of wheel-throwing and her South Asian & British heritage. Line conveys a visual dance on the ceramic surfaces, leading the eye through the swirls, spins and unraveling, as the line is set free.
'Line is a Language' is a pottery exhibition showcasing wheel thrown wall sculptures, flower vessels and tableware. Ideas for this body of work began in the Melbourne covid lockdowns.
