This entry-level workshop invites participants of all ages to explore experimental ceramic techniques that are fun and accessible. Participants will be guided by artist Narelle White and receive tips for making their own experimental artworks using porcelain slip. Taking place in the Kingston Arts courtyard, the workshop will begin with a visit to the City Hall foyer, where participants can view Narelle's installation Alchemies. Here, participants will hear about the methods that have inspired Narelle's work, before diving into their own creations. Children and adults are welcome. Dress for mess. Works will fired and available for collection 10am-5pm, October 22.

Narelle White is an artist-in-residence at the Kingston Arts Ceramic Studio on Bunurong Country. Narelle holds a BFA (Honours) from the Victorian College of the Arts and has a background in community-engaged programming.
