Join Tantri Mustika for an exciting DOUBLE WHAMMY workshop.

This exclusive two part master class explores the various methods of staining clay as well as approaches to creating tests to take home or to your own studio. The second part of the class take's the group through the basics of Nerikomi, a pattern making technique using the coloured clay made in the first part of the class.

You will learn:
- Various approaches to colouring clay using stains as well as colour testing methods
- How to create your own stain tests samples- The 'must knows' and important safety tips associated with the clay staining process
- Two different Nerikomi techniques
- Insights into the ceramic making process and knowledge of a working studio

You will make:
- Coloured clay and test tiles
- Up to three Nerikomi style pieces of your choice* (think bowels/ plates/ ramekins/ coasters etc)
*All pieces made during the workshop will be fired and collection will be arranged at a later date.

We will provide:
- Light snacks and beverages throughout the day
- All materials and tools

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those with prior ceramic experience. All tests and work created by students will be glazed, fired and finished by myself. Students will then be able to pick up finished pieces at an arranged pick-up date.
