Reflecting the clients in his studio, KIEROY's practice in fine jewellery creation has developed since he first started making in 2013. Observing an increase in clients seeking him out - women for rings to propose to men, both partners seeking engagement pieces, same-sex couples for each other - led him to conceive TRANSPOSE.
TRANSPOSE is a collection of neutral engagement pieces representing the shifting social dynamic of commitment in Australia, inspired by his community of friends, family and clients. The collection embraces yet transforms the solitaire, reimagining it as a suite of refined, handmade pieces using precious stones and metals in new form.
Members of the general public are invited to celebrate equality and harmony in both commitment and fine jewellery creation over the 29th and 30th of October, with artist and jeweller Kieran Jackson.
