During her Craft Contemporary residency, Amanda Dziedzic will share insight into the everyday life of the HotHaus glass studio, including a brief look at glass production processes from start to finish. Get ready for a busy couple of days with Amanda and her team as they take us through the exciting processes of colour prep, hot glass blowing, and cold finishing techniques.

Amanda Dziedzic is a Melbourne-based glass artist working from her own studio, HotHaus, in Heidelberg West. Amanda is known for her love of colour, and is best recognised for her Yumemirus and Colourscape series. Amanda has completed a two-year traineeship at JamFactory, Adelaide, a research residency in Tokyo, Japan, a studio placement in the UK, and has participated in the Pilchuck Glass School, Seattle. Amanda recently completed a residency at Northlands Glass in Scotland.

Her production revolves around working in a team, and in addition to her own practice, she makes works for other artists, designers and makers, such as homewares and lighting.
